CIRCLE OF PARENTS - Circle of Parents is a mechanism to enhance family support services and the Family Connections Program through the use of parent self-help groups. Locally our Circle of Parents groups are known as Parents Supporting Parents groups. The Parents Supporting Parents groups provide a friendly and mutually supportive environment led by parents and other caregivers. Parents are provided with a safe place to openly discuss challenges, frustrations, and joys of raising a child. The results are stronger families, happier parents, and healthier children.

Children’s programs are also part of the Circle of Parents support groups. This allows parents the opportunity to attend the group while their children are cared for and participate in their own activities.

Currently we have two Parents Supporting Parents groups that both meet twice per month.

Why Attend A Support Group?

Parents Supporting Parents groups are beneficial for a variety of reasons. These groups provide ongoing support after exiting the Family Connections Program as well as create a natural, long lasting support system for the families.
